Sun-faded door at Santana Row

Pedestrian passes Santana Row's Wall of Color

Beach at Fitzgerald Marine Reserve

Creepy corridor along the marine reserve

We half expected a headless horseman to come galloping toward us at any moment

Harbor seals in their rookery at Fitzgerald Marine Reserve

Pacifica coastline

Pacifica's rolling surf

Golden Gate Bridge towers above Fort Baker's red roofed buildings

Sunlight sets Jan Marie aglow in Fort Baker's former cathedral

The cathedral is now one of many meeting rooms in Cavallo Point, a new resort & spa
incorporating the fort's original structures

Late afternoon sun pours over Fort Baker's Cavallo Point resort

Sunset at Montara Lighthouse

On the bench

Natural Bridges State Beach in Santa Cruz

Jan Marie and San Francisco's Coit Tower

Rather than drive up to the tower, we climbed up the famous Filbert steps

Walking down the Greenwich steps

And yes, we did see (and hear!) the Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill

These parrots were immortalized in the 2005 film "The Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill"
